US-led airstrikes have destroyed more than 100 ISIS boats in a bombing campaign inIraq.
The terrorist group were transferring weapons and food between villages near the Tigris River.
The operation has crippled ISIS' attempts of using watercrafts to transport fighters and carry out attacks.
Iraqi Army' spokesman Major Amin Sheikhani said nine boats were sunk in an airstrike in the southeast of Nineveh on Sunday (September 25).
“Today, the international coalition aircraft bombarded nine ISIS boats south-west of Nineveh province, destroying the boats completely and killing their occupants,” Sheikhani said.
