Dear John: I can promise you that a great number of voting Americans have no clue what the words “privatizing Social Security” mean.
I am asking you to do a little tutorial. I remember all too clearly when George W. Bush wanted to do that, which translated into putting my trust fund money in the crap shoot known as Wall Street.
Bush had probably raided my trust fund to finance the B.S. war in Iraq and was looking for a quick fix. Well, I hate to say it, but if that was the “thought process,” it was degenerate gambler thinking.
So please take a moment and teach everybody what privatizing actually means. J.R.
